A recent fiberglass pool installation that we at Pools123 carried out, it has won the prestigious Pool of the Month award as presented by Leisure Pools.

As you stroll through the neighborhood where this masterpiece resides, your eyes are drawn to the captivating beauty that is the Ultimate 30′ in Sapphire Blue. The pool’s shimmering azure waters perfectly complement the modern aesthetics of both the interior and exterior of the corresponding home. The marriage of sleek design and luxurious functionality elevates the entire ambiance of the space to a whole new level.

We faced multiple challenges during the installation due to the unique topography and terrain of the site. The Texas Hill Country location, renowned for its varying elevations and rocky grounds, necessitated innovative solutions. Our project manger details the initial difficulties our team faced.

“The ground here is filled with rocks,’ he indicated. “As such, we had to break up a substantial amount of stone just to make space for the pool.”

To address drainage concerns and maintain the pool’s durability, we designed a specialized wall that redirected water around the pool area. This solution didn’t just solve a problem. It also added a creative twist to the pool’s design, as referenced in the next section.

Moreover, the building constraints in Austin posed additional challenges. With a maximum impervious cover limit of 45% for any lot, our team had only 350 square feet of concrete at our disposal. The stringent tree preservation regulations in the area further complicated the project.

“This is a much tighter of an installation than it looks,” noted Mehrman.

Rather than treating the wall solely as a functional necessity, we transformed it into an enchanting water feature. The wall not only serves as a means to ensure proper drainage, but it is also adorned with three mesmerizing 36” cascades, creating a symphony of flowing water that adds an auditory dimension to the visual spectacle. This integration of form and function demonstrates our unwavering commitment to creating pools that are both awe-inspiring and practical.

We are very proud of attention to detail on this project as well. The pool’s patio, crafted from luxurious marble, seamlessly extends from the pool’s edge, creating a cohesive and inviting space for relaxation and entertainment. To maintain a harmonious unity, the same split face tile used on the wall was chosen to match the white marble. This creates a visually striking connection between the pool area and the surrounding space. This level of meticulous design execution underscores how we create holistic poolscapes that are both pleasing to the eye and systematically cohesive.

Additionally, we integrated a variety of Hayward pool products into this installation, including lights and automation. As such, another layer of luxury and practicality secured its place in this design.

“It’s the fine details that really make the project,” emphasized Mehrman.
